Cherry Point MCAS Graduates 2019

Park University’s Cherry Point (N.C.) Marine Corps Air Station Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 30 at Cherry Point Base Chapel. The University had 53 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — one student received a master’s degree, 48 students received a bachelor’s degree, one student received two bachelor’s degrees, one student received a bachelor’s degree and associate degree, and three students received an associate degree.

Park University and Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya, have signed a memorandum of understanding that will provide for international collaboration between the two schools.

Austin Campus Graduates 2019

Park University’s Austin (Texas) Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 24 at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin. The University had 60 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — seven students received a master’s degree, one student received a master’s degree and graduate certificate, one student received a graduate certificate, 40 students received a bachelor’s degree, one student received a bachelor’s degree and undergraduate certificate, and 10 students received an associate degree.

Hanscom AFB Graduates 2019

Park University’s Hanscom Air Force Base (Mass.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 23 at Minuteman Commons on the base. The University had five students eligible to participate in the ceremony — all five received a bachelor’s degree.

Tinker AFB Graduates 2019

Park University’s Tinker Air Force Base (Okla.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 23 at the Community Learning Center Auditorium at Rose State College in Midwest City, Okla. The University had 16 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — all 16 received a bachelor’s degree.

Valor Medals Review Program

In mid-April, Park University announced that it was spearheading the effort of a Congress-led systematic review of minority veterans who served in World War I who may have been denied the Medal of Honor due to race. On Wednesday, June 19, the University will host a program “From Kansas City to Washington, D.C.: World War I Valor Medals Review,” at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Mo., starting at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

Little Rock AFB Graduates 2019

Park University’s Little Rock (Ark.) Air Force Base held its commencement ceremony on May 17 at the Jacksonville (Ark.) Community Center. The University had 52 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — 38 students received a bachelor’s degree, eight students received a bachelor’s degree and associate degree, five students received an associate degree and one student received an associate degree and an undergraduate certificate.

Beaufort MCAS Graduates 2019

Park University’s Beaufort (S.C.) Marine Corps Air Station Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 17 at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot Parris Island (S.C.) Theater. The University had 25 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — 17 students received a bachelor’s degree and eight students received an associate degree.

NSA Millington Graduates 2019

Park University’s Naval Support Activity Mid-South Millington (Tenn.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 17 at the Pat Thompson Recreation Center on the base. The University had 45 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — one student received a master’s degree, 27 students received a bachelor’s degree and 17 students received an associate degree.
