Womens History Month Lecture 2020

March 2, 2020

Park University’s annual Women’s History Month Lecture will feature a discussion on “Prescribing the Pill” on Monday, March 30. The lecture, to be presented by Beth Bailey, Ph.D., will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Jenkin and Barbara David Theater inside Alumni Hall on the University’s Parkville Campus. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

Night at the Helm 2020

Kansas City Area Graduates December 2019

Park University held its December 2019 Kansas City Area Commencement ceremony on Dec. 14 at the Community of Christ Auditorium in Independence, Mo. The University had 470 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — 259 students received a master’s degree and/or a graduate certificate, and 211 students received a bachelor’s degree, associate degree and/or undergraduate certificate. W. Ann Hansbrough, J.D., an associate circuit judge in the Circuit Court of Platte County, Mo., and a member of Park’s Board of Trustees, presented the keynote address.

Charleston AFB Graduates 2019

Park University’s Charleston (S.C.) Air Force Base Campus held its commencement ceremony on Dec. 6 at the Education Center Auditorium on base. The University had 34 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — 31 students received a bachelor’s degree and three student received an associate degree.

Hansbrough Commencement Keynote

W. Ann Hansbrough, J.D., an associate circuit judge in the Circuit Court of Platte County, Mo., will present the keynote address during Park University’s Kansas City Area Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 14. The ceremony will be held at the Community of Christ Auditorium in Independence, Mo., starting at 10 a.m. The event will include 544 Park University students eligible to graduate and participate in the ceremony — 293 students are set to receive a master’s degree and/or graduate certificate, and 251 students are scheduled to receive a bachelor’s degree, associate degree and/or undergraduate certificate.

Mountain Home AFB Graduates 2019

Park University’s Mountain Home Air Force Base (Idaho) Campus held its commencement ceremony on Nov. 15 on base. The University had 18 students eligible to participate in the ceremony — one student received a master’s degree, 15 students received a bachelor’s degree and two student received an associate degree.

Fore Appointed Gilbert Athletics Director

November 12, 2019

Park University has appointed Jeff Fore as director of athletics at the University’s Gilbert, Ariz., campus. Fore, who also serves as the Park–Gilbert women’s basketball head coach, began his additional duties on Nov. 4.

Park University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
