Park University Interim President Shane Smeed has announced a handful of organizational changes.
Black History Month Lecture 2021

A discussion surrounding the events of the Tulsa (Okla.) Race Massacre (also known as the Tulsa Race Riot) will be the topic addressed during Park University’s 20th annual Spencer Cave Black History Month Lecture on Monday, Feb. 22. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held virtually at park.edu/spencercavelecture starting at 3 p.m.
Fall 2020 Graduates

Park University announces its Fall 2020 graduates from the University’s flagship Parkville Campus, as well as the Downtown Kansas City (Mo.), Independence (Mo.) and Lenexa (Kan.) campuses. The list of graduates also includes fall online graduates worldwide and graduates from the University’s other campuses across the country not previously announced this year.
Top 10 Stories 2020

Park University celebrated another historic and noteworthy year in 2019 as the University and its employees garnered national media attention, and earned international, national and local honors. Park’s Office of University Engagement compiled the University’s biggest stories of the year and asked five members of the University’s staff to pick their top 10 moments from 2020.
DSC Columbus Graduates 2020

Park University announces its graduates from the University’s Defense Supply Center Columbus (Ohio) Campus. These graduates were scheduled to participate in a commencement ceremony on Nov. 14 at Ohio History Connection in Columbus, but the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The University had 14 students eligible to graduate — two students received a master’s degree, eight students received a bachelor’s degree, three students received an associate degree and one student received an undergraduate certificate.
Davis Monthan Graduates 2020

Park University announces its graduates from the University’s Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (Ariz.) Campus. These graduates were scheduled to participate in a commencement ceremony on Dec. 19 at the Sea of Glass Center for the Arts in Tucson, Ariz., but the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The University had 26 students eligible to graduate — 23 students received a bachelor’s degree and three students received an associate degree.
