At Park University, our Minor in Statistics degree program is designed to help students gain the knowledge and skills in basic concepts in probability and statistics that are pertinent to most disciplines. Students who minor in statistics may go on to pursue advanced-level study or a career in the field.
As a student in our Minor in Statistics program, you’ll be required to take face-to-face classes at our Parkville, Missouri campus. This minor requires a total of 19 completed credit hours, and students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Our Minor in Statistics program provides a well-rounded approach to many areas in probability and statistics. When you study statistics at Park University, you will learn about basic concepts such as probability models, discrete random variables, normal distributions, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
