Park University Announces Competitive Academic Scholarship Winners

January 30, 2024 — Park University has announced the recipients of competitive academic scholarships. These scholarships have been awarded to current high school seniors who are expected to enroll in college starting with the Fall 2024 semester.

Sadie WatkinsLeslie Garcia-AudeloThe most prestigious Park University academic scholarship given is the Presidential Honors Scholarship. This award, traditionally given to two incoming freshmen, covers full tuition, fees, room and board for four years, as well as the opportunity for a study abroad semester. The award is valued at more than $109,000. The 2023 Presidential Honors Scholarship has been presented to:
          •  Leslie Garcia-Audelo (left), Blue Springs (Mo.) High School
          •  Sadie Watkins (right), Liberty (Mo.) High School

The McAfee Scholarship, also awarded to incoming freshmen, provides full tuition and fees for four years, as well as the opportunity for a study abroad semester. The award is valued at $70,000. The McAfee Scholarship has been awarded to the following 10 students:
          •  Aubrey Boguske, Kearney (Mo.) High School
          •  Chloe Delk, Park Hill High School, Kansas City, Mo.
          •  Savannah Diebold, Liberty (Mo.) North High School
          •  Payton Dorzweiler, Liberty (Mo.) North High School
          •  Calina Graff, Staley High School, Kansas City, Mo.
          •  Payden King, Liberty (Mo.) North High School
          •  Alaina Mink, Park Hill High School, Kansas City, Mo.
          •  Zola Rooney, Park Hill South High School, Riverside, Mo.
          •  Faith Tessman, Staley High School, Kansas City, Mo.
          •  Alieah Youngblood, School of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, Mo.

The Park Trustee Scholarship provides incoming freshmen with a $8,000 award toward tuition for four years, and is valued at $32,000. This scholarship was awarded to the following 19 students:
