Welcome to the Park Parent Website!

Under 26? You may be eligible for health coverage under your paren's plan We're glad your son or daughter has joined the Park University Family!  As their parent, YOU are an extended member of our Park Family as well.  This site is designed for parents of current and prospective students of Park University, and we hope you'll find it useful. Some of the material will be unique for parents, and other information will simply provide a convenient way for you to access answers to your questions by linking to other sections of the Park University website.

Park Parent Orientation for Fall, 2012

The Park Parent Orientation is scheduled for Friday, August 17, 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm, starting with a reception in Thompson Student Center. That's the day your son or daughter will be moving onto campus, so after you finish helping them unload their things in Copley Quad or Chesnut - we hope you'll join us for a fun and informative afternoon.

There's an optional campus tour for parents (coordinated by student leaders), starting in Thompson at 1:00 pm. Then, we hope all parents of new students can join us for a Parent Repeption on the first floor of Thompson at 1:30 pm. You will have an opportunity to talk with the Park University President, Dr. Mike Droge; Provost, Dr. Jerry Jorgensen; plus other Park administrators, faculty, and staff. After that - the Parent Orientation will begin in McCoy Meetin' House (just down the steps from Thompson) at 2 pm. We would appreciate your registering for the event by clicking on the link at the left.

It’s an exciting time for your son or daughter, and for you!  Please access the Park Parent Newsletter in the left column, and also check out the additional links. We hope you find this information helpful, and if you need more assistance - please send an e-mail to Student Life staff at StudentLife@Park.edu or call us at (816)584-6377.

Looking forward to meeting you!

As an additional service to Park Parents we have created access to a parent specific “Student Health 101”. This is an online magazine that is provided to Park students to assist with living a healthy lifestyle and with experiencing issues of being a college student. The parent edition is a synopsis of the more in depth student version so that you will have an idea of topics to discuss with your student.  Please click on the following image to reach Student Health 101 for parents:
