Mary Louise Snyder Scholarship

This scholarship is in the memory of Mary Louise (Snyder) and William H. Tipton, Jr., both graduates of the Class of 1928 at Park College. We wish that this annual scholarship be awarded annually to provide $500.00 a semester for a Junior or Senior student at Park University with the stipulation that such student:

• Lives in one of the dormitories or residence halls of the university, thus participating in and contributing to the university life.
• Is majoring either in English, Economics or business Administration/Economics, or Communications/Journalism, with preference in that order in making selection of the student to receive the scholarship assistance.

We wish that the annual recipient of this memorial scholarship be selected by a committee named by the Dean of the University or the President of the University, with the announcement of the selection to be made in the annual Honors Convocation.
