Fred R. Kenower Scholarship

The Fred R. Kenower Scholarship was established and endowed by Fred R. Kenower, class of 1925. Mr. Kenower was a generous benefactor of Park University all his life. In 1963, he retired from his post as local display advertising manager of The Kansas City Star, where he worked for 35 years. The Kenower Scholarship benefits students who intend to graduate from Park University.

Selection Criteria: must be one of the following majors:

• Accounting
• Business Administration
• Computer Science
• English
• Marketing
• Natural Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• Political Science
• Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, etc.)
• Education with a concentration in English, Science, Social Science
  • Must have completed two semesters at Park University with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
  • Must reside on campus.
  • Must have participated in extracurricular activities either in high school or college.
  • Must prove financial need.
