Social Psychology blends the strengths of psychology and sociology.  It studies the "person in the situation," and integrates knowledge about individual, group, and organzational processes.  It is an adaptable major that trains students for a wide range of career options, and it is personally useful in every facet of your life beyond mere employment.  Social psychology trains you to see yourself, others, and the cultures and societies we live in more clearly, critically, and completely.  It equips you with a set of tools useful for a wide range of data analysis and interpretation, policy and program implementation, the helping and service professions, or continued graduate study in psychology or sociology.

Requirements for Admission

To enter this online Social Psychology degree completion program, a student must meet the following conditions:

  • Earned high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • a cumulative 2.0 GPA in all previous college study
  • Completion of the Application for Admission and payment of the application fee.

Students will need to complete at least 30 semester hours through Park University, with 15 hours in their major in order to receive a degree from Park University.

A variety of credits may be transferred in from the following sources:

  • Transferred courses with a 'C' or above grade from other regionally accredited colleges and universities
  • CLEP/DSST/ACE credits
  • VLE - Validated Learning Experience
