Park University has appointed Amy McIntosh (left) as director of marketing/brand and Aimee Patton (right) as director of marketing/digital. Both women started in their respective positions at Park today.
As director of marketing/brand, McIntosh will develop marketing strategies and tactics to promote the University, specifically to help increase inquiry and enrollment goals for the institution. In addition, McIntosh will work with Park’s admissions and retention teams, and will ensure the University’s advertising campaigns and merchandising are appropriately branded to Park’s standards.
McIntosh comes to Park University with 23 years of experience in the advertising/marketing field. Most recently, she served as media services manager at Gragg Advertising in Kansas City, Mo., since 2010. McIntosh previously served as brand contact manager at Sullivan, Higdon and Sink, in Kansas City, Mo.; senior broadcast media buyer at Bernstein-Rein Advertising, in Kansas City, Mo.; and media planner/buyer at Copp Media Services in Wichita, Kan. McIntosh has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Wichita State University.
In Patton’s role as director of marketing/digital, she will direct all of Park’s digital efforts, including pay-per-click, search engine optimization, social media and website, to garner interest from prospective students to the University. Patton will also ensure an effective social media plan and direct the relevance, ease of use and priorities for Park’s website.
Patton also comes to Park from Gragg Advertising, having served as strategic planning manager since 2014. Previous experience includes stints as: marketing director at Kansas City (Mo.) Foot and Ankle; training operations and marketing coordinator at Development Systems, Kansas City, Mo.; development director at Angel Flight Central, Kansas City, Mo.; health care advocacy program coordinator at Safehome, Overland Park, Kan.; and team leader of procurement at Capital One Financial Services, Vienna, Va. Patton has a Bachelor of Arts in history from William Jewell College, Liberty, Mo.
