Park University's School of Business has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. ACBSP is a specialized accrediting organization that reviews the quality and integrity of business degree programs. Accreditation by ACBSP is based on an independent evaluation of an institution's business school and programs by a group of professionals, which include academic administrators and faculty in the field of business.

Park University is one of just three four-year colleges/universities based in the Kansas City region to be accredited by the ACBSP and is the only independent/private college/university based on the Missouri side of the KC region to earn ACBSP accreditation.

"ACBSP accreditation ensures that graduates of the School of Business at Park University are educated in the critical areas for business study, including grounding in a common professional component that helps students solve multidisciplinary problems and be effective decision-makers," said Brad Kleindl, Ph.D., dean of the School of Business. "Our students receive practical problem-solving and data analysis skills, leadership abilities, environmental awareness and good citizenship. Employers find value in knowing that these students have graduated from a school that uses the same standards as those used by businesses, health care providers and others who have met the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence."

The ACBSP criteria demonstrate that Park's School of Business delivers excellence and continuous improvement based on the School's mission and values. To achieve this accreditation, the School of Business  at Park University has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The School has also shown a strong linkage to the business community through its various advisory councils that help ensure graduates' skills meet business needs.

The School of Business at Park University serves students worldwide. This includes undergraduate students at Park's three Kansas City area campuses in Parkville, Independence and downtown Kansas City, Mo.; graduate students in Park's Master of Business Administration program; and online. Achieving ACBSP accreditation is a tangible demonstration of theSchool of Business' program quality across these dispersed programs and locations.
