Park University United Nations Team

The Park University Model UN Team offers students an excellent opportunity to learn more about how the world's nations act together to solve global problems and reduce suffering around the world. By competing in model UN simulations against teams from other colleges and universities from around the world, team members gain valuable skills in large-group problem solving, decision making and consensus building.

Park's MUN team recently won Outstanding Delegation-Honorable Mention for its representation of Djibouti at the 2010 National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference in New York. Park's Model UN has also won best individual delegation awards at NMUN and at the American Model United Nations in Chicago. In addition, one Park Model UN student won an internship at the UN, while a second Park MUN alum was hired to work full time at her country's permanent mission to the United Nations.
