IS 320 : Object-Oriented Modeling
Course Description
IS320 Object-Oriented Modeling: Object-Oriented modeling is utilized to decompose complex problems into smaller, more manageable components, objects, which can be easily created with object-oriented technologies. Student learners will explore the principles of object-orientation and utilize Unified Modeling Language (UML) to define object, their behaviors, and relationships to other objects. The student learner will investigate approaches to object-oriented development and the relationship to implementation in such technologies as JAVA. 3:0:3 Prerequisite: IS317
Learning Outcomes
- Use the basic principles of object-orientation
- Identify objects, classes and interfaces within a problem definition
- Utilize object-oriented tools to practice key concepts of analysis and design
- Identify and define complex relationships that are available for organizing all the objects in the system.
- Communicate both orally and in writing as an individual and as a member of a team.
