Park University’s undergrad degree prepares students for a number of computer science and information technology careers. Studying advanced math, programming, and the practical applications of networks gives students a head start on experiences they may have in their jobs, building their resumes.
To keep pace with the dynamic field, we update our programs on a regular basis. Learn the latest programming languages and web-based technologies that companies want experienced employees in.
In the Networking and Security concentration, students take Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) courses in preparation for the CCNA certification exam.
Our department works with Park’s Career Development Center to help place undergraduate information and computer technology students in internship positions in Kansas City and beyond. The department actively encourages students to work in such internship positions and considers internships to be an integral part of the ICS curriculum.
