Master of Public Administration Program – Adjunct Instructor(s)

Fitness, Wellness & Recreation - Adjunct Instructor
The Department of Athletic Training and Fitness and Wellness is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the spring 2015 semester for the growing Bachelor of Science in Fitness & Wellness degree. The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for teaching a variety of fitness and wellness courses including, but not limited to FWR 122 Human Nutrition, FWR 225 Kinesiology, FWR 310 Advanced Conditioning, and FWR 375 Fitness & Wellness in Special Populations. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

    - An earned Master’s Degree in Exercise Science is required, PhD preferred

    - Certifications from either NASM (i.e. CES, PES, FNS), ACSM (i.e. HFS), or NSCA (i.e. CSCS)

The Ellen Finley Earhart Department of Nursing at Park University invites applicants to apply for a Clinical Adjunct Faculty position. The clinical adjunct faculty is a valued member of our Nursing Program team. They are responsible for facilitating student learning in a variety of clinical care areas, grading of student learning assessments, collaborating with department faculty, and working with nursing unit staff and patients  to assure the safety and quality of our program clinical course work.

Our available clinical positions include: Fundamentals, Medical Surgical, Mental Health, and Obstetrics. Our clinical rotations vary depending on clinical placement availability with our clinical partners, as well as, the clinical day hours vary by course. Department of Nursing - Nursing Simulation and Laboratory Technician

The Nursing Simulation and Laboratory Technician sets up, operates, and manipulates patient care simulators, multimedia, computer and related equipment needed for simulating medical conditions and responses used in nursing courses. 

This job requires that the following credentials be documented and maintained:

  • Current never disciplined licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri – must be approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing to practice in an educational setting
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • Experience in simulation and / or nursing laboratory management preferred.
  • Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association and all clinically related immunizations.
  • A minimum of at least 1 year clinical experience in nursing

MBA 615 Managerial Finance
This course covers a comprehensive analysis of issues faced by financial managers. Topics

MBA 674 Quantitative Analysis for Management Decisions
This course covers the concepts, tools and methods of economic analysis relevant to

of approaching business decisions. Attention is given to the analysis of factors determining
market demand and supply, as well as factors affecting short- and long-run production and
costs, strategic pricing policies in the presence of marketing power and interaction of firms

MBA 695 Strategic Management
This course covers the integration of applied research for managerial decisions and actions
that determine the long-term performance of a corporation. Focus includes strategy
formulation, implementation, evaluation and control. Topics covered are: development of an
integrated operations strategy, analysis of cases and completion of a major project involving
research and investigations.

Park University's College of School of Education is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach classes in both the online Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Education and Leadership at Park University.  All, but clinical classes, are offered online in an 8 week format. 

Masters in Early Childhood Education or related discipline required.  Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education or related discipline, preferred.  3 years teaching experience in an early childhood program (birth to Kindergarten) required.
