How to Get Started

Admission requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Computer and Network Security are as follows:

  • Online Application
  • Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Networking, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (IT) with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
          OR
    completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and significant work experience in networking, and/or computer security
  • A two to three page letter of interest indicating work experience, educational background and any certifications in computer, information and network security.

Note: Students participating in the Graduate Certificate in Computer and Network Security program will be required to sign a Commitment to ethical practice and academic honesty for each CNS course in which they are enrolled.  There will be a zero tolerance for violation of the Commitment.
