Dr. Josephine C. Agnew-Tally, Dean, School for Education
The Park University School for Education has a long history of excellence in teaching and preparing students to be effective classroom teachers, adult education experts, and administrators. This is a critical time to engage in the field of education. Some of the greatest needs involve narrowing the achievement gaps among our diverse student populations. To do so, we need to develop educational practices that consistently engage and prepare all students for the 21st Century. According to current research from the US DOE, central to teacher education in the 21st century is strong clinical field experiences program. Our teacher education and educational leadership programs provide both extensive and intensive clinical field experiences on-site in P-12 schools.
As you browse through our website, you will find truly outstanding programs in education. What cannot be captured in writing is the quality of positive interactions between students and faculty that represent the very supportive culture of our School. We cordially invite you, as a prospective education student, to consider joining us for the next stage of your training at the Park University School for Education. As the Dean of the School for Education, please know my office, virtual and real, is always open to you!
