Criteria for Admission to the School for Education Non-Certification Programs
Meeting these minimum requirements states that the applicant is eligible for admission consideration, but does not guarantee admission.
The above information is verified by the Office of the Registrar on the Application for Admission to the School for Education (form to be picked up the student in the School for Education office and turned in to the Office of the Registrar).
The student provides the following documents to Director of Field Experiences, ten days before the School for Education meeting (4th Wednesday of each month). Please submit documents in a single envelope with your name, telephone number and email address.

Area of Concentration
The student must have a total of at least 21 semester hours in an area of concentration (courses taken as part of the General Curriculum may be counted as part if the area of concentration). This concentration must be approved by the student's advisor.

Because there are specific general education courses required for teacher certification in the state of Missouri, it is imperative the student speak with his or her advisor regarding these course requirements prior to enrollment.
