PH308 - Business Ethics

Course Description: PH308 Business Ethics An inquiry into the role of ethics in business situations. Topics considered include: the justice of various economic systems, corporate rate responsibility, conflict of interest, government regulation versus self-regulation, the ethics of investment, responsible advertising, discrimination, affirmative action, and sexual harassment. Emphasis is put upon the application of ethical theory to specific cases with attention to the sometimes conflicting demands of profit maximization and societal well-being. 3:0:3 (From catalog 2012-2013)
