Course Description: EC404 Managerial Economics: Prerequisites: EC141, EC142, and EC315. A second statistics course and CS140 may be substituted for EC315.The course covers microeconomic analysis of specific problems faced by business firms. The course includes determining optimal solutions to firm objectives such as maximizing profit, minimizing cost, and achieving the optimal portfolio mix. The analysis is conducted with Microsoft Excel to solve problems using regression analysis. 3:0:3
