Course Description: CA316 Advanced Media Writing & Reporting: Focus on information gathering, international reporting, and on using multimedia tools and outlets to disseminate information. Students write, shoot still images and video, collect audio and utilize other new forms of media communication for publishing on the Internet. Other course topics include civic journalism, citizen journalism, and freedom of the press, including freedom of information and sunshine laws. Prerequisites: CA201, CA 224 or Instructor Permission. 3:0:3. (From catalog 2012-2013)
