Students are introduced to the design process as it is followed in a professional office. The elements, vocabulary and principles of design are applied to a series of simple interior design projects, including both residential and public space interior design. Students are introduced to life safety codes and accessibility guidelines. Skills and knowledge from pre and co-requisite studio and lecture courses are applied to design projects.
