Open to the public for business majors. Dress professionally, bring copies of your resume and network with area employers.

This is a great opportunity for all job seekers, full-time, part-time and internship candidates, as well as soon-to-be graduates.

From I-70:
Take exit 202 towards West Lawrence. After paying toll, proceed south (straight) to Iowa Street. Turn left on 9th Street. Proceed down 9th to Indiana. Turn right on Indiana (directly past Conoco station). This street will curve slightly to the left, then take the next right on Oread Ave. The parking garage is on your right.

 

This fair is free and open to business majors.

ETIQUETTE / NETWORKING DINNER

Four Points By Sheraton - KCI Airport

 

 

Network with fellow Park students and area employers as well as students from Benedictine College, Missouri Western State University and William Jewell College.  You will also learn proper dinner etiquette from an expert in the field while dining on a gourmet meal. 

 

Registration for students is $20 per person and is open to the first 20 students who register from Park University.  Contact the Career Development Center on the Parkville Campus in Mabee 406 and speak with Susan Michaud. Deadline for registration is September 15th  The fee covers a portion of your cost for the dinner and is due at the time of registration. The remainder of the cost will be covered by the Career Development Center.  The fee is non-refundable! If you would like to use a credit card to register by phone, please contact Susan Michaud at 816-584-6330.

 

EMPLOYERS

There are 3 levels of Corporate Sponsorship available for attendance

Gold - $500 fee:  includes registration for 4 representatives, special recognition, company information listed at attendee table, and an opportunity to address attendees

Silver - $250 fee:   includes registration for 2 representatives, special recognition, and company information listed at attendee table

Bronze - $150 fee:  includes registration for 1 representative and company information listed at attendee table

AAF-KANSAS CITY CAREER DAY, Formerly AD CLUB CAREER DAY

Uptown Theatre - 3700 Broadway, Kansas City, MO

Career Day registration will begin at 8 am with the opening general session beginning at 9 am. Brian Brooker, Chief Creative Officer/Chief Executive Officer at Barkley, will be the keynote luncheon speaker. When all of the breakout sessions conclude around 3:45 pm, there will be an optional portfolio review open for students to have their books reviewed by creative professionals. The planning committee is working on adding an optional enhancement session at the end of the day for students not participating in the portfolio.

 

If you are interested in marketing, advertising, or careers in the media, plan to attend this event. 

Portfolio Reviews available from 3:45-5:00.  Here is a chance to impress someone. 

Do not miss this opportunity for networking and professional feedback.

Disney Internship Presentation

Find out about Disney Internships. Students please apply online first at:  www.disneycollegeprogram.com.  The application will speed up the processing time, but not obligate you to the internship.  Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are included and students can get business credits through MCC.
