Services of the CDC

The goal of the Career Development Center (CDC) is to provide career planning tools to insure a lifetime of career success. The CDC offers services for all stages of career development, including:
  • Online career and internship system, Hire a Pirate, accessible to Park University students and alumni
  • Individual career advising appointments in person (Parkville), via phone, and online communication
  • Career Workshops, mock interviews, and more both in Parkville and online
  • Resume and Cover Letter assistance and review
  • Interview preparation
  • Resources for career exploration and planning (StrenghsFinder, Myer-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), etc.)
  • Graduate school selection and admissions information
  • Job search strategies including networking, self-marketing, salary negotiation, and Internet research
  • Park Career Development Blog, bi-weekly information on all things career-related
  • Two Park University Career & Internship Fairs – Fall and Spring
  • Career Events sponsored by Park University Career Development Center and in partnership with outside organizations—Fairs, Interview Days, Treks
