Park University Student Athletic Trainers' Association (PUSATA)
The Park University Student Athletic Training Association (PUSATA) is comprised of students within the athletic training program. The main function of PUSATA is to encourage student camaraderie, responsibility and involvement in the field of athletic training. This organization offers athletic training majors the opportunity to expand their knowledge in both the academic and professional aspects of athletic training.
PUSATA members will also have the opportunity to participate in community service and fundraising activities, all of which benefit the organization by reinforcing a sense of community and responsibility among athletic training students. As a result of these efforts, students will provide social events that continue to develop relationships for its members both on and off campus.
The organization assists athletic training students in competency and proficiency training, offering educational seminars to grant further experience in athletic training. Additionally, members have the opportunity to attend national and local conventions with the help of proceeds from fundraisers.
