Dual Admissions Program for Metropolitan Community
College Students with 24 Credit Hours
The Dual Admissions transfer program has been developed to help bridge the transfer process from MCC to Park University. Students already enrolled at MCC apply for admission to Park University at the end of their first year or 24 credit hours, with the intent to transfer to Park University at the end of their second year or earlier. While dually enrolled, each semester the community college will forward an official transcript to Park University in order to run a degree audit (advising) report. This report will update the student as to how their community college courses transfer to Park university and can be viewed online by both the student and his/her advisor.
What are the advantages?
This cooperative venture allows the student to:
Take advantage of the low tuition charges at both institutions.
Achieve an associate's degree and a bachelor's degree from two quality institutions.
Obtain academic advising each semester from both institutions.
Obtain a Central ID Card that provides access to athletic events, the Park University library, as well as special student discounts for cultural events and programs.
Who Should Seek Dual Admission?
Any student who has completed at least 24 hours of college credit, and is considering transferring to Park University in the future.
How do I Apply?
Just go online to: https://www.park.edu/apply/ and submit your application. Be sure to select "DUAL" as the campus type on the online application form.
Once accepted, students will have access to their degree audit (evaluation) online. This report will be updated each semester.
