Degree Offerings

Park University’s Education program is approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. To be certified in the state of Missouri, candidates must complete the program, achieve a passing score on the appropriate PRAXIS test, obtain a recommendation by Park University and apply for certification. Upon successful completion of these steps, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education issues a Missouri Teaching Certificate. Teaching certification also requires passing a background check conducted by both the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the FBI, which includes fingerprinting.
