NCLEX-PN Validation Exam

To participate in the Nursing Program, you must successfully pass the NCLEX-PN validation examination. You can begin classes prior to receiving your grade, but you must submit proof of passing within 90 days of your PN graduation. If you do not pass the NCLEX-PN exam, you will not be able to continue in the Park University Associate Degree in Nursing Program.

Exam Format

The NCLEX-PN exam is a multiple-choice exam that tests your PN knowledge. The exam includes sections on reading, writing, clinical calculations, science (physiology) and nursing fundamentals. The most effective way to study for this exam is to review your PN school notes and textbooks and make use of any NCLEX-PN review book, such as Mosby's Review, which are available at most bookstores.

Scheduling an Exam

How do I schedule the tests? Once you submit your application and testing fees to the Nursing Office, you can schedule a testing appointment. You can only take the exam once per application season; however, if you do not achieve a passing score, you can retake the exam the following application season.
